Qiushi Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, has been focused on the study of autoinflammatory diseases. Prof.Zhou has named new autoinflammatory diseases such as CRIA, DADA2, LIRSA, HA20, Otulipenia, APLS, and APLAID. Her research has identified new pathogenic genes for autoinflammatory diseases, including RIPK1, ADA2, IL1R1, TNFAIP3, OTULIN, PLCG1, PLCG2, as well as somatic mutations in NLRP3 and NLRC4. She explored the pathogenic mechanisms of autoinflammatory diseases. Based on the pathogenic mechanisms, she has advanced targeted therapies for patients, successfully treating six autoinflammatory diseases.

Her papers as corresponding or first author have been published in journals such as Nature, NEJM, Immunity, Nature Genetics, Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, Science Advances, JACI, PNAS, AJHG, JASN, Arthritis & Rheumatology, and Annual Review of Genetics.
