Dr Suaini/Hidaya is a Senior Scientist at the A*STAR Institute of Human Development and Potential. She obtained both her Bachelor of Science and PhD from the University of Melbourne.

She is also a research associate with the Population Allergy group at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Australia.

Through collaborative efforts with allergy groups in Singapore and Australia, she works on integrating data from the landmark HealthNuts study in Australia and the GUSTO study in Singapore to explore differential risk factors between the two countries. Her primary area of research is food allergy but has since expanded her focus to include atopic dermatitis and other child health outcomes. In particular, she seeks to uncover the in-utero influences and genetic factors in paediatric atopic dermatitis.”
