Brief biography of KAM Kai Man Joseph
Kai Man Joseph KAM is a clinical microbiologist who graduated from the University of Hong Kong. He has previously worked in the Tuberculosis (TB) Reference Laboratory in Hong Kong, and was instrumental in establishing it as a Supranational Reference Laboratory. He has taught as Clinical Associate Professor in the Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is presently working as researcher in bioethics in the Holy Spirit Seminary College of theology and philosophy. He is Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (United Kingdom) in Medical Microbiology, Diplomate Emeritus of the American Board of Medical Microbiology (Public Health). His present research interests are loneliness among elderlies, long COVID-19 infections and associated vaccines, and drug resistant TB.
